Cheadle Masjid is pleased to announce an Adhan workshop with Qari Michael Mala.

Making the call to prayer is a great blessing, the Prophet ‎ﷺ said: “The muadhins will have the longest necks (a sign of honour) of the people on the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim)

Join us for this important workshop in which Qari Michael will explain how to make the call to prayer with correct tajweed, melody, and breath control. There will also be a discussion on some of the Fiqh points related to calling the adhan.

All participants will have the chance to receive an Ijazah in the adhan, connecting back to the first muadhin, Hazrat Bilal (R). Furthermore, approved participants will also be added to the Cheadle Masjid adhan rota Insha’Allah.
